Taylor Root is looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join the Legal Department in a global retailer for an 18 month assignment.
The position is based in Surrey with the possibility to work 2 days a week from their central London offices in Oxford Street. This is a very diverse role covering a wide range of legal matters across multiple geographies. You'll provide employment law advice to senior management and various functional business leaders and develop policies and procedures that ensure their ongoing legal compliance. This will include advising on day to day contractual matters, disciplinary and grievance, discrimination and equal opportunities, redundancy and restructuring and employment policies.
The successful candidate will have experience actively and directly handling wide range of employment related questions and issues ranging from legal advice and guidance on contractual matters, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, employment terminations, redundancy and restructuring projects, labour disputes, to advice on employment tribunal claims and early conciliation (including through ACAS in the UK) as well as general employment litigation and related dispute resolution.
