Fantastic role for a well-rounded senior employment lawyer to join a leading sector-focussed Birmingham practice. This is a rare opportunity to join an established and thriving employment team advising respondent clients throughout the UK.
The role will incorporate; advisory, litigation and general employment work (to include drafting policies and employment contracts) as well as working cross-team with colleagues on large projects. The employment team works for all of the firm's sector clients including; health & social care, social enterprise and charities as well as working for many well-known commercial clients on all aspects of employment law.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent technical lawyer with a clear motivation to work within a sector focussed firm and the ability to hit the ground running. The candidate will need to have strong client facing skills, substantial experience of running their own caseload as well as working as part of a team.
This would be a great fit for an experience lawyer looking for the chance to have a real input into their own career development with a clear pathway for progression, the chance to mentor and bring on junior colleagues and to develop their own areas of specialism or work as a generalist employment lawyer.
