Excellent opportunity for a senior employment lawyer in Birmingham looking for a Senior Associate or Partner level role within a pioneering and expansive UK law firm. The national employment team work for a great mix of domestic and international businesses as well as senior executives in a range of sectors including; manufacturing, construction, financial services, hospitality and pharmaceutical. The work is high quality and varied to cover the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment issues such as; allegations of unfair dismissal, discrimination, breach of contract, whistleblowing, breaches of restrictive covenants as well as day to day advisory work, TUPE, corporate support and drafting employment contracts and assisting with grievance procedures.

The successful employment lawyer will be able to demonstrate substantial experience of working for respondent clients on a broad diet of employment law matters across a range of sectors. With excellent legal knowledge and the ability to deliver commercially sound advice, the successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the ability to foster strong client relationships and client training on current hot topics. A proactive approach to working and a proven track record of achieving client objectives in a cost efficient manner are also essential skills.
