The firm's employment team advise a great mix of clients from start-up corporates, household name brands, listed companies and an array of public sector employers on all aspects of employment law. The team deals with the full remit of contentious and non-contentious work from advising on day to day HR processes including; employee handbooks, health and safety, sickness & benefits and redundancy though to complex discrimination, disability and whistle blowing cases.

This is a great opportunity to join a team of employment law experts who recognise and understand the ever-changing nature and complexity of employment law. The team pride themselves on offering excellent client service and providing commercially and legally sound advice in a cost-effective manner. Our client is currently recruiting for a bright and enthusiastic junior employment lawyer looking for the opportunity to join an established and Legal 500 ranked employment team in Leicester.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of employment law and practical experience of handling a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters. The candidate should also have; strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail and drafting skills, the ability to work independently and as part of team, experience of dealing directly with clients and third parties and the desire to build strong client relationships. Experience of delivering training to clients and attending business development events will also be of interest.
