Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious US law firm in London? Our client, an elite US law firm, is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role will be covering a busy period within the Employment team, prior to a permanent hire joining the firm in 3 months’ time.

As an Employment Solicitor, you will handle a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, showcasing your expertise and contributing to the success of the firm. This is an excellent chance to work with high-profile clients and gain exposure to challenging and complex cases.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and be qualified in England & Wales, Australia, or New Zealand. Strong knowledge and practical experience in Employment law is essential to excel in this role. Demonstrating your ability to navigate complex legal issues, provide strategic advice, and deliver excellent client service will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious Employment matters.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of Employment law issues.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and participate in negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure effective teamwork and high-quality service delivery.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and contribute to knowledge sharing within the firm.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in Employment law.
  • Qualified in England & Wales, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Proven experience in handling both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
