Employment Associate – (2+ PQE) 12m FTC

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Associate with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our client on a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) to cover a period of maternity leave. The role will focus on all aspects of employment law, with an emphasis on providing legal advice to employers. We are looking for a proactive associate who can quickly build confidence with clients, both internal and external, to deliver commercially astute and legally accurate advice. Every day in this role is varied, with a mix of quick turnaround advisory work and larger long-term projects and litigation.

As an Employment Associate, your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on all aspects of employment law, with a focus on the employer side of the practice
• Working on a mixed caseload for both employers and senior executives on contentious, non-contentious and transactional work
• Working across a range of sectors, including private, public and third sector clients
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Delivering high-quality and timely legal services

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for employment law.
