The Role
This globally established firm is looking for a 3PQE+ Litigator to join their growing team in the Cayman Islands. The team deals with complex Offshore Dispute Resolution, Fund Disputes, R&I and Merger Disputes with a particular focus on the Banking & Financial Services and Energy & Natural Resources sectors.
Matters and responsibilities, amongst others, are acting for and against incumbent voluntary liquidators in contentious petition hearings for court supervision of liquidations, providing expert advice of Cayman Islands law regarding Cayman Islands Exempted Limited Partnerships and advocating for schemes of arrangement and capital reductions to facilitate Asian M&A transactions and South American pipeline asset spin-offs.
The Candidate
- Must have 3PQE + experience in disputes, particularly: insolvency litigation, or commercial litigation, or professional negligence/insurance litigation.
