Director Privacy @ Data Science/AI & Analytics
The Company
I am currently instructed by a Global leader in Customer data science and analytics, looking to bring on a Legal Director (Privacy) to their team.
The Role
key and wide-ranging leadership role within the legal team, leading a team of privacy professionals in providing commercially focused privacy advice to their global business and shaping, maturing, and embedding their privacy compliance and assurance framework across the organisation. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment and be willing to contribute ideas, innovate and evolve processes over time.
You
* Qualified lawyer with several years of experience in data privacy, including in leadership and transformation roles.
* Advanced knowledge of data protection law and practices and a proven track record of dealing with complex data protection and privacy issues.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced technology business.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with all levels of the organization, including Board-level stakeholder management.
* CIPP certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or similar).
* Good knowledge of agile techniques and collaboration tools.
* Good knowledge of privacy-specific software.
