Our client is a premier global management consulting firm that partners with some of the largest global companies, leading businesses, governments and institutions and advise on a full range of strategy, organisation, operations, IT and other professional services. They are a truly global firm with 120+ offices in 60+ countries. Due to continuous expansion of the business, they are looking for a Director of Risk (APAC) to join their business here in Hong Kong.
Your New Role
The role would be part of the business' Risk function. This is a highly integrated position, looking for candidates with a mixture of expertise in communications, consulting, diplomacy, government, government affairs and law. You would work closely with clients serving partners and internal parties across the firm. You would act as a trusted legal advisor on a wide range of complex, high-risk regional issues, and involved in identifying, managing and providing hands-on support to high-risk issues and events across the APAC region.
What you will need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be a qualified lawyer with 8+ years of solid experience in a related field, e.g. policy, strategy, government and risk. He/she must have an affinity and abiding interest for risk and governance issues, and have deportment and credibility to cultivate trust-based relationships across all levels of the firm. A strong undergraduate and/or law degree is required, supplemented with strategic thinking and strong problem solving skills.
