We are working with a listed regulated financial services organisation who are looking for a Deputy Company Secretary to join their team in Reigate. Hybrid working is 1 – 2 days in the office.

This individual will be a key member of the legal and company secretarial team, acting as a trusted business partner and adviser to the General Counsel, Chairman and members of the Group Executive.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the efficient running of the Group Company Secretariat function, particularly in respect of management of records and administrative processes
  • Management of the Group’s compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks to include but not limited to: Companies Act, Listing Rules, Public Interest Entity Rules, Wates Corporate Governance Principles and Private Equity Reporting Guidelines
  • Planning and organising Board and Committee meetings and Group Executive Committee meetings, including the meetings of the Jersey entities
  • Drafting, circulating and releasing Stock Exchange announcements as appropriate
  • Compliance with all statutory filings within prescribed timescales, including Confirmation Statements, Appointments, Resignations, Statement of Capital (including documents relating to share transfers etc) and resolutions passed at AGM

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be fully CGI qualified (ACG / FCG)
  • Have previous experience working in a listed environment / with listed entities
  • Have significant experience working in a regulated financial services organisation
