A leading national defendant firm is seeking a Solicitor (PQE 1-5) to join its established Defendant Personal Injury team, with opportunities available in either Birmingham or Leeds.

The practice is well recognised for its work across the healthcare and insurance sectors, advising a strong portfolio of public sector and private clients on high‑quality EL/PL matters. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of pre‑litigation and litigated work within a reputable and growing team.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of Fast Track and lower‑value Multi Track EL/PL claims, while also assisting senior colleagues on more complex and higher‑value matters. Solid experience in assessing liability, causation and damages is essential, and exposure to human rights or data‑breach claims would be advantageous. Strong case management skills and experience within defendant, insurer-side, or mixed PI practices will be key to success in this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor seeking strong career development within a high‑performing, supportive team. The firm offers clear progression pathways, hybrid working, and the chance to build specialist expertise within a nationally recognised Defendant Personal Injury practice.
