A leading Global Bank is looking for a Debt Capital Market Lawyer to join a growing team on a 12-month FTC. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior business executives and you will be involved in a diverse portfolio of work.

Key duties will include:

o Drafting and reviewing of legal documentation for syndicated and private placement fixed income transactions and the handling of transactions across the EMEA region as lead documentation and settlement/billing and delivery bank for clients globally.
o Drafting and reviewing of debt issuance programme establishments and updates on which the bank acts in a lead role as arranger or in a dealer capacity across the EMEA region for clients globally.
o Assisting the Debt Capital Markets teams across the EMEA region with pitches, presentations and RFPs.
o Drafting and reviewing of legal documentation for structured finance transactions including the development of documentation for new and complex structures.
o Assist the Legal Department and the Debt Capital Markets teams across the EMEA region with the development of ESG and Sustainability linked business, frameworks, pitches and presentations.
o Providing legal advice to the Debt Capital Markets and Syndicate teams, Structuring teams, Sales and Trading teams, Derivatives Risk Solutions and Derivatives Product Solutions teams across the EMEA region, as well as to the various internal support areas.
o Liaising on a day-to-day basis with the Debt Capital Markets and Syndicate teams, Structuring teams, Sales and Trading teams, Derivatives Risk Solutions and Derivatives Product Solution teams, the Operations department, the Risk department, various other internal support areas, borrowers, trading counterparties, external advisers, external agents, service providers and stock exchanges.

You will have a minimum of 1 year of Post Qualified Experience gained in a law firm or In House legal team. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business.
