A leading Insurance Company is looking to appoint a Cyber Litigation Counsel in London on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader and be an instrumental part of the legal team.
You will join an established legal team and will be responsible for delivering a high quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers.
Duties will include:
- Proactively handling cyber and technology claims on behalf of capacity providers from first notification of loss to settlement.
- Fostering good relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers.
- Actively working with a panel of vendors.
- Ensuring that there is a prompt and accurate reserving, identifying and pursuing relevant third-party recoveries and seeking to reduce claims leakage.
This role will suit a qualified litigator who has at least 3 years' PQE from a Reputable Law firm or In-house organisation. You will have solid experience of cyber or technology claims and be experienced at dealing with external stakeholders. You must have a good understanding of insurance policy wordings and experience with cross border and international cyber incidents or forensic investigations. Excellent communication skills and a positive and enthusiastic attitude are essential.
