My client is a mid-sized, full service Singaporean law firm. Following the relocation of one of their long-serving Corporate partners, they are looking to hire a new Corporate Partner to join their team.
The role will involve working primarily on general corporate transactions with a strong focus on M&A transactions, as well as joint ventures, investments, private equity and some regulatory work. Experience in non-contentious restructuring and/or capital markets work would be beneficial but is not essential as they have other partners with expertise in these areas.
Applications are invited from candidates who fit the following criteria:-
- qualified in Singapore;
- at least 7/8 years PQE (the firm are happy to consider candidates who are significantly more senior than this);
- demonstrable track record in corporate transactions, and specifically M&A;
- able to bring a book of business (the firm are flexible on the size of book, but it will be relevant when discussing remuneration etc).
The new partner will join a team of 4 other corporate partners, and circa 8-10 corporate associates and will be actively involved in the day to day supervision of associates and trainees as well as business development.
Good prospects for equity for the right individual.
To comply with local laws, our Singapore office EA Licence No is: 17S8475.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
