This Birmingham-based role will involve working closely with a Chambers-ranked Partner to deliver exceptional results to global clients on a broad range of complex corporate crime and investigations.. The work is high value and high profile and you will be dealing with complex investigations and prosecution of a offences including; fraud, bribery and corruption, criminal anti-competitive behaviour, health and safety, environmental, food hygiene and safety, product safety, consumer protection (Trading Standards) and dawn raids.
In addition the team also has substantial experience of undertaking privileged internal investigation into whistle blower allegations and suspected corporate and employee criminality.
The opportunity comes with a lot of flexibility and variety. Candidates must have a mixture of strong litigation and arbitration experience gained at a leading regional or City firm. Whilst a specific level of PQE is not specified, it is thought that someone operating at around Senior Associate level (or equivalent) will have the right level of experience for this role. Experience of conducting corporate due diligence, contentious SHE, regulatory or commercial would be highly desirable.
