Hyatt is a leading global hotel and hospitality group with their European HQ based in Zürich, Switzerland. They manage, franchise, license, own and develop hotels, resorts and branded residences under their brands with an impressive and diverse portfolio across nearly 50 countries. Based in Zurich, this position will be responsible for providing invaluable legal support for the development projects and transactions across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, as the business continues to grow.
Reporting to the VP Legal, you will lead on a range of matters with responsibility for negotiating complex hotel management transactions, acquisitions and dispositions as well as joint venture transactions relating to the development function. The role will also involve legal matters in relation to existing contractual relationships and current-owned real estate assets.
You will have at least 2+ years strong post qualification experience (from the UK or elsewhere in Europe) in corporate M&A or real estate transactions gained in a top tier international law firm (or other international practice of comparable profile). Experience in commercial real estate and/or corporate transactions will be required. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and negotiation skills as well as the capability to handle multiple projects at once and an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
