Our client is an international investment company with billions in assets under management. They are looking for a lawyer to support to the GC in covering EMEA transactional work from their London office. This is an exceptional opportunity to get exposure to an unparalleled variety of deals across different sectors and jurisdictions. You will also be involved in broader in-house work, including commercial contracts and European regulatory and compliance matters.
Our client will consider lawyers with at least 4 years' experience coming from strong transactional backgrounds including M&A, Private Equity, VC, or Corporate Finance. Experience in the financial services and/or energy sectors would be beneficial but is not essential, but you should have excellent experience handling cross-border transactional matters (across Europe would be a plus).
You will be a confident, articulate and commercially pragmatic operator, a genuine team player who is quick to establish trust and credibility with stakeholders across the business. You will be able to operate in a fast-moving and deal-driven environment, yet still able to take a considered and balanced approach to providing sound legal advice and be happy to broaden your experience into wider in-house work as well.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
