Exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join a high-growth FinTech based in London. This will be a broad, with significant autonomy, and provides a great opportunity to help shape the business. You will be joining a forward-thinking company that prides itself on its culture and employees' wellbeing.


An innovative payments company is hiring a Corporate Counsel to support the expanding legal function and impact further business growth.

A specialist in providing transparent payments solutions for high-risk transactions, they work with an impressive roster of clients across the legal, finance and professional services industries, and have processed over $1bn to date. This is a newly created and varied legal position supporting across a range of complex corporate matters.


The scope of this role is broad and will include supporting the business with legal advice for all corporate affairs. You will be the lead lawyer on matters including corporate funding, shareholder agreements, restructuring and corporate governance, as well as playing a key role in developing and implementing the corporate finance strategy. Other responsibilities will include leading on the drafting and negotiating of a range of commercial agreements.


This opportunity would best suit a UK qualified lawyer, from the corporate finance department of a top city law firm, and with at least 2 years PQE. You will be autonomous and independent, comfortable working as part of a team and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders. Being motivated to work in a truly innovative, fast-paced environment is a must.
