THE ROLE
- Become an integral part of the expanding Legal department
- Collaborate within a diverse, dynamic team of corporate/commercial solicitors
- Manage corporate and commercial caseload
- Draft and negotiate various commercial contracts
- Provide counsel on data protection/GDPR issues and documentation
- Oversee investment rounds, share sales, and acquisitions
- Assist with internal and external corporate and company secretarial matters
- Main focus: M&A, Fundraisings, Reorganisations, IP, Commercial Contracts, amongst others
- Support departmental business development
- Thrive in a period of exciting company growth
THE CANDIDATE
- Experienced corporate/commercial solicitor with minimum 3 years’ PQE, UK qualified
- Bright, proactive, and commercially-minded professional
- Comfortable working independently and taking a consultative approach
- Passion for client interaction and departmental business development
- Skills in managing a range of corporate and commercial matters
- Proficiency in data protection and GDPR matters
- Additional data protection/GDPR certification highly desirable
- Knowledge of (S)EIS tax relief a plus
- Strong foundation in company and commercial law
- Warm, approachable, and highly organized
- Growth mindset with excellent communication skills
