Our client, an esteemed international law firm, is currently seeking a highly skilled and ambitious, UK-qualified Solicitor with between 3 to 6 years of PQE to join their London office on a permanent basis within the Corporate team dealing with M&A, Private Equity, Joint Ventures & Project Development in relation to Oil & Gas, Mining & Renewables.

The Team

As a mid-level Associate in the Corporate Energy team, you will be responsible for managing deals, advising on corporate matters, and participating in multi-party negotiations. The role involves front-line management of transactions in the energy and natural resources sectors, focusing on M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and project development. The team is at the forefront of the energy landscape, actively involved in traditional assets, renewables, cleantech, and digital ventures.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be a UK-qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials, currently working in the corporate department of a leading City or US firm. You should have a keen interest and/or experience in the energy and natural resources sectors, coupled with first-rate technical skills. Business development experience and the ability to build strong client relationships are essential.
