Construction/Projects Lawyer: 3-6 PQE, Singapore
We are working with a leading law firm in Singapore with a renowned team of professionals in the construction and projects industry. We are looking for a mid-to-senior level construction/projects Lawyer to join this leading practice group where you’ll advise across a broad range of energy and infrastructure matters. This is a stable team with an excellent reputation for retaining and developing top talent.
The ideal candidate should have:
- a strong academic background, with a law degree from a reputable university
- at least 3-6 years of experience in the construction and infrastructure sector
- experience working at a leading national or international law firm
- a common law qualification, ideally Singapore, England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand, or similar
- non-contentious construction drafting skills (for example EPC, FIDIC), projects documents, government contracts, procurement documentation, O&M etc.
The team advises across a range of major infrastructure projects, as well as renewables, oil & gas, and power deals.
Your role will largely focus on the non-contentious elements of construction/projects matters, though this team is a ‘one stop shop’ for clients, so you will work on a variety of client queries and likely work on corporate and finance matters from-time-to-time. You will be expected to have a good working knowledge of the construction and projects industry, as well as a sound understanding of the legal issues associated with the sector.
