Construction Litigation Solicitor
Taylor Root is currently working on an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contentious Construction Solicitor, to join our client a leading Top 100 City based law firm. This position is available on a fixed-term basis, for 3-6 months.
The role will provide a mixture of contentious and non-contentious work but will be mostly focused on Contentious matters. The work will almost exclusively be UK-based and all building related, both standard form and bespoke agreements.
The role will include handling contentious matters and dispute advisory work up to and including ADR, expert and determination and adjudications (plus enforcement proceedings in the TCC), dealing with a wide range of matters including final account and delay claims, quality of build claims, construction insolvency, bond claims, ACM cladding, professional indemnity, and other insurance-related claims. Dealing with standard form contracts, (JCT, RIBA, CIC, FIDEC), professional appointments and collateral warranties.
The hiring preference for this role is a Construction Solicitor with upwards of 4+ PQE, either with experience in contentious construction, or a mix of contentious and non-contentious experience gained at another Top 100 law firm.
