This is an exciting time for a Conflicts Lawyer to join an international law firm that are extensively growing, based in one of their regional offices (Leeds, Manchester or Glasgow). The firm are open to experienced lawyers within conflicts or a bright, newly qualified solicitor who is interested and capable of moving into a conflicts role.

Working closely with other members of the Conflicts Escalations team in the Office of General Counsel, you will play a key role in assessing whether the Firm is able to take on new client work.

There is also an opportunity to get involved in wider risk and compliance duties.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough analysis of potential conflicts and confidentiality concerns.

· Collaborate with Partners and other fee earners to address conflict issues and gain insights into existing client relationships.

· Provide support and guidance to the Conflicts Committee/Conflicts Partner, assisting in gathering business information and contributing to recommendations and decisions.

· Identify and evaluate broader commercial, risk, and reputational considerations during the conflict clearance process.

· Contribute to the development and enhancement of policies and procedures for managing conflicts and ensuring compliance, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.

· Oversee and mentor team members within the Conflicts Escalations team, depending on experience.

Salary is dependant on location and experience.
