Compliance Officer – Conflicts
A few of our international law firm clients in Hong Kong are seeking Compliance professionals with expertise in AML, Conflicts, and New Business Acceptance to join their growing regional compliance team. An active part of the global business compliance and risk function you will advise fee earners and partners on best practice in relation to new client acquisition, conduct conflict searches, AML reviews, sanctions monitoring and advise on New Business Acceptance policies.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who is in a similar role today (Analyst/ Officer) and looking for upward career move with team management responsibilities and wider regional coverage.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of managing conflicts, compliance, or business acceptance, preferably in a law firm environment
- Commercially minded with excellent command in both verbal and written English. Proficiency in Chinese, and fluent Mandarin would be advantageous.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of conflicts of interest, sanctions regimes, and experience of applying a risk-based approach to compliance would be highly desirable
