Role Details:

As a Commercial Real Estate Solicitor, you will be part of a leading team known for handling complex issues and working closely with clients throughout an asset’s life-cycle. Your role will involve acting for top-flight clients on acquisitions and development work, with a particular focus on the industrial and logistics sector. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing landlord and tenant matters and pre-lets.
  • Handling development transactions, including forward fundings, investment acquisitions, disposals, asset management, and restructuring.
  • Providing real estate advice on corporate-driven transactions.
  • Ensuring competency in ESG and its application across the asset life-cycle.
  • Supervising junior team members.

You will work closely with a diverse client list, including institutions, pension funds, property companies, charities, and private developers. This role offers a favourable hybrid working policy.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

The successful candidate will have 4 to 6 years of PQE, with relevant experience in acting for institutions and developers. Essential skills include:

  • Competence in landlord and tenant matters and pre-lets.
  • Experience in development transactions, including construction and planning aspects.
  • Strong understanding of ESG and its application in real estate.
  • Ability to supervise junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills, with a commercial and practical approach to resolving issues.
