Commercial Disputes Solicitor (Competition Focus) – 12 month FTC – London.
Taylor Root have recently partnered with a specialist US litigation practice who are currently looking to hire an experience Commercial Disputes Solicitor who is fluent in Dutch, to join them on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract in their London office.
The firm is a global disputes specialist law firm who has a strong focus on competition, commercial, tech, human rights, and consumer law. Our client is recognised in various leading directories for their expertise in competition, commercial and group litigation, representing businesses, public entities, investors, mostly on the claimant side.
The successful Commercial Disputes Solicitor will be assisting on day-to-day management of claims for damages resulting from infringements of competition law in the UK and in the Netherlands, and other European jurisdictions. You will also be assisting in managing large scale disclosure exercises and obtaining of witness and expert evidence and contribute to settlement negotiations.
The ideal candidate will be likely be between 2 – 5 years PQE, having experience working in commercial litigation. Experience in competition litigation is desirable but not experience. Ideally you will have gained experience working for another Top 100 Law Firm.
