Commercial Counsel - Technology (SaaS)

A high growth tech company, delivering innovative software solutions, is looking to expand their UK legal team with a permanent hire. You will be the lead lawyer for the European market as well as work with the small team on EMEA wide legal matters. Ideally you will be a UK qualified lawyer and fluent in French or German.

You will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating complex SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) contracts for the business working closely with sales teams as well as NDAs, Professional Services Agreements, Service Level Agreements and Partner Agreements. Supporting across EMEA you will be able to influence the contracting processes, building templates and standard forms where required and help establish the legal function in line with company needs as it continues its rapid growth.

You will need to be a UK qualified lawyer and have at least 4-6 years' PQE with experience of working within a sales led organisation and ideally a SaaS product. As well as being an outstanding contract drafter and negotiator, you must be confident working on technology agreements in both French and English as well as working autonomously. Dual qualification is highly desirable. If you possess additional languages skill in particular German or Spanish that would be an advantage.

This is an amazing opportunity for a technology lawyer to join a forward-thinking and dynamic organisation with great career development prospects. This is a unique and challenging role that will see you working with lawyers and business stakeholders who are leaders within their field.
