Job Title: Commercial Contracts Counsel (Remote)

Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Based)

Compensation: $150,000 – $170,000 annually

Experience Level: 3-5 Years

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate with 3-5 years of experience in commercial contracts to join our client’s growing legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, NDAs, SaaS agreements, licensing deals, and service agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including procurement, sales, finance, and operations.
  • Support contract lifecycle management and help improve internal processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay current on legal trends and regulatory developments impacting commercial transactions.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 3-5 years of experience focused on commercial contracts, preferably in-house or at a law firm with a strong transactional practice.
  • Experience in the healthcare, non-profit, or higher education sectors is a plus
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
