The Opportunity – Commercial Contracts & Procurement

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected team at the forefront of healthcare commercial law. You will:

  • Advise on a range of commercial transactions, including joint ventures, partnerships, and outsourcing agreements.
  • Support NHS and Public Sector clients on procurement strategies, approvals, and contract structures.
  • Work on cutting-edge projects, from AI data platforms to innovative medical devices and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist in commercialisation projects for NHS Trusts, generating income through unique healthcare solutions.
  • Engage with clients directly, attend meetings, and collaborate with legal, financial, and technical advisors.
  • Work closely with colleagues across corporate, procurement, property, employment, banking, and finance teams.
  • Contribute to business development and marketing efforts in emerging fields like healthcare and AI.

Who They’re Looking For

They’re looking for a motivated and talented legal professional with:

  • Experience advising NHS and/or Public Sector clients on commercial contracts.
  • Knowledge of Public Sector procurement (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong technical skills with a practical and commercial approach to legal issues.
  • An interest in supervising junior lawyers and supporting their development.
  • A passion for business development and networking.
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and client-focused mindset.
