Business Analyst – Risk Technology
Our Client a Dynamic Global Capital Markets Firm is looking for a AVP level Business Analyst who can help deliver multiple project workstreams .
Some of the responsibilities:
- Work with Risk & Technology divisions
- Enable the Risk division and improve daily business processes via technology implementation.
- Document existing & new processes and workflows.
- Identify business requirements, dependencies, and priorities.
- Proactively suggest & drive improvements in production processes, outlining benefits.
- Assist with the evaluation of third-party vendor systems and services from a Risk division perspective.
- Pass on requirements collated from Risk & structured to the Technology development teams to turn into their JIRA stories. Assisting with refinement & prioritising.
What experience will you have to succeed:
- Prior track record in business analysis for Risk division or similar projects.
- Demonstrable experience with process flow, business processes, and requirements capture.
- Ability to balance and prioritise own activities while communicating expectation.
- Experience and understanding of agile project management practices and working with IT in their agile development process.
- Proactive and self-starting. Able to work without direct supervision and escalate issues.
- Preferably degree educated or with equivalent professional experience relevant to the role.
- Proficiency in talking technology across projects to Risk stakeholders and talking Risk business requirements to technology – bridging the division to Technology.
- Technology examples you might work across: PowerBI; API integrations; Microsoft stack tools (PowerApps & LogicApps); Python; XTP; FSS; Internally developed Risk tools & workflows; Several Market/Clearing Risk systems; Privacy systems; JIRA
