Business Affairs Coordinator – Scripted TV

Taylor Root has a rare opportunity to join an award-winning television production company whose content includes comedy, drama and documentaries produced for both the UK and international markets. We have partnered exclusively with them to recruit a Business Affairs Coordinator to support their creative, friendly and inclusive team.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will work closely with the development and production teams, supporting a diverse range of scripted television programmes.

You will have responsibility for a range of legal administrative duties as you are taught the legal skills required as a TV production lawyer.

Your day-to-day legal work will include negotiating and drafting agreements with third parties (e.g., writers, rights’ owners, co-production partners, service companies, broadcasters, etc), creating slick processes around invoices and contracts, as well as maintaining records, policies and clearances.

To be considered you will have great attention to detail, be very organised, be able to prioritise your workload and have the ability to work under pressure. You will also be accustomed to maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a truly unique entry level opportunity. You may already have some scripted TV experience or perhaps you have completed your law degree or LPC and are keen to begin your legal career in this space.
You will be nurtured and supported in this fun and highly valued business and legal affairs team. The role will give you the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Legal, who has vast experience across the industry and would be a great mentor to learn from.

This is a full-time role with great benefits and a hybrid working model in place, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week, based in Central London.

If this role if of interest, do not hesitate to contact me.
