Our client is a top tier global law firm with an established network of offices across the APAC region.
They are currently looking to hire a dynamic Banking & Projects lawyer for their Bangkok office, to replace an existing associate who is moving in-house.
The role will involve working on regional banking & project finance transactions for major clients across South East Asia including (but not limited to) Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam etc. Working closely with colleagues in Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong as part of large, regional team, the successful recruit will work on cutting edge energy/project finance transactions as well as some general banking transactions.
Ideally candidates will have between 2-6 PQE (UK scale), be internationally qualified (UK, AUS/NZ, US preferably) and will have demonstrable banking & finance and/or project finance experience from a reputable international firm in another major financial centre. Emerging markets experience would be beneficial but is not essential. There are no language skills required for this role.
