Attorney or Lawyer – Trade Mark

Our client is a long established and full service Australian law firm with a highly regarded IP team.
Our client is looking to grow its IP practice and there is an excellent opportunity for an experienced registered trade mark attorney or trade mark lawyer to join this dynamic and collaborative team.
Role
As a senior lawyer on the team your work will cover all aspects of trade mark practice and you will be acting in respect of local, regional and international clients, covering a very broad range of industries.
The team’s trade mark work includes:
- Drafting and submitting trade mark applications and legal and associated correspondence with IP Australia and WIPO, as well as working with foreign agents, oppositions, removals, assignments, removal applications, design searches and registration, preparation of evidence, as well as general and strategic trade mark and IP advice;
- Working directly with IP Partners and lawyers in respect of the broad range of trade mark and IP work;
- Assisting on due diligence, commercial and transactional matters in respect of IP, trade marks and related advice and assistance to the corporate and commercial teams of the firm.
