ASSOCIATE GC - FAST GROWING TECH BUSINESS - DIGITAL / DATA LICENSING
Our client is a dynamic high growth technology US business that works with 225 partners worldwide and is responsible for delivering personalised content. It is extremely profitable and has ambitious growth plans to be valued at $100billion in the next five years so this will be a hugely exciting time to join them.
The team are looking for their first Associate General Counsel to join the London legal team for Digital/Data Privacy. Reporting to their down to earth and impressive GC (based in US) you will be their first hire in this London team with counterparts in US, Singapore and Europe. You will also have a dotted line into the GC based in UK who heads up the commercial team. They will look to this person to build out the team as the business expands.
Working closely with their Privacy and Product teams you will collaborate with key stakeholders on their Data Partnerships, Business Development, Inventory and Product teams to advise on complex legal matters and develop creative solutions to contribute to the overall success of the company, with a particular focus on counselling and leading deal support for Data Partnerships initiatives in the EMEA region. You will structure, draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, with particular focus on data licensing and all aspects of data rights and usage, including supporting strategic data initiatives and working closely with the Data Partnerships, Product, and Privacy teams.

Remote, or hybrid working is available, but the business has recently acquired high spec central London offices that are worth experiencing!
