Associate – Corporate (Public & Private M&A)
Role
Our client, a top-tier global law firm, is looking to add a Lawyer or Associate to its high performing corporate transactions team.
The corporate transactions team provide a comprehensive service on structuring, managing and executing public and private M&A transactions. They advise bidders, targets, sellers and financial advisers and cover all types of public company M&A including schemes and takeovers as well as private treaty M&A including asset acquisitions and divestments, joint venture arrangements and restructures.
In this role, you will be working on some of the largest, most complex and strategically significant corporate transactions in Australia and internationally through our client’s network, as well as those of a smaller nature.
Firm
Our client is a top-tier international law firm with a top banding Chambers ranked corporate practice group. Our client is looking to make a long-term investment in a strong lawyer, with regulated corporate M&A experience, who is similarly looking to make a long-term career commitment to their corporate practice.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of post-qualification corporate experience from a top-tier, mid-tier or reputable boutique law firm in Australia.
- Excellent academics
