ASSISTANT COMPANY SECRETARY, INDUSTRY, ABU DHABI
CLIENT: Our client is an expanding industrial entity with ambitious expansion plans. They are seeking to grow out their compliance, corporate governance and company secretarial function, with the hire of a new Assistant Company Secretary.
ROLE: This is a newly formed role and a relatively fresh department. You will report to the Company Secretary and support the business across many divisions and subsidiaries filtering down best practice guidance and implementing procedures and policies. You will need to drive change, technology and innovation and be seen as leader for professionalism and company growth.
CANDIDATE: There are some key criteria for the role:
- Ideally you will be a qualified lawyer who has moved into company secretarial work
- A form of company secretary qualification will be sought after
- You'll need 3-5 years of high level work, gained from either a law firm or corporate
- Being based in the Middle East already will be of value but not a dead breaker
