We are working with a Lloyds Managing Agency who are looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join their team in London.

This is a newly created role, working directly with the Head of Legal & Governance with the purpose of the role being to act as Assistant Company Secretary of the organisation to provide; high quality, professional company secretarial and corporate governance services to the business; and to ensure a smooth operation of the Group and clients’ boards and committee meetings

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the Managing Agency board and committees, by having responsibility for organising and maintaining agendas and for collecting, organising, and distributing meeting papers. This includes responsibility to produce accurate minutes and action points within the time frame stipulated in the committees’ respective terms of references
  • All company secretarial work (including company secretarial services to clients) and other duties including FCA/ PRA and Lloyd’s filings
  • To review contracts (as requested by the Company Secretary) and undertake ad-hoc project work

To be successful in this role you will:

  • be CGI qualified / a finalist
  • Have substantial minuting experience with proven ability to produce quality minutes in a technically challenge environment
  • Knowledge of Diligent (Entities & Boardbooks)

**Please not this role requires individuals in the office 4 days per week on average (7 days over a 2 week period)
