A challenging and exciting broad role to assist in the management, delivery and supervision of the work of the Legal Department. Supporting UK, international and territorial levels by providing advice on legal and constitutional issues with the opportunity to travel from time to time.
Role includes review of employment law, commercial contracts, charity law, banking, trust, intellectual property, immigration, religion, data protection, corporate and commercial law. The role will also be to advise on the charities orders, regulations, policies, constitutions and other documentation. To draft and prepare legal, constitutional and ecclesiastical documents.
They are looking for a bright generalist commercial or employment lawyer. You do not have to have a background in charity or all of the practice areas, although an advantage.
You must be enthusiastic and have a willingness to read around the constitution of the charity and understand the regulations and pick up any new areas of practice.
Experience of international territories is an advantage.
