Taylor Root Diversity and Inclusion series – Reflections on Black History Month and Women’s History Month

On Wednesday 24th March 2021 Taylor Root in New York hosted a webinar as part of our Global Diversity and Inclusion webinar series. The Q&A focused on the meaning of Black History Month and Women’s History Month, talking about the intersection between race and gender with an inspiring panelist who shared examples from her career and experiences in the corporate legal world.

Panelist: Jeanine Anderson

Jeanine is a Senior Legal Counsel for the Commercial Transactions Team at Equinix, the world’s largest data center and colocation provider. Based in New York, Jeanine began her legal career as a state prosecutor in Bronx County, NY before transitioning to corporate law, becoming the first in-house counsel at NeuroLeadership Institute Inc., an international consulting firm. She currently sits on the board of Association of Corporate Counsel-New York chapter. She obtained her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her B.A. in Political Science from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.

A native of Chicago’s south side, she focuses her attention on mentoring both officially as a youth mentor with SEO (Seizing every Opportunity) and unofficially to anyone who seeks advice and counsel about life and career goals.
