DORA roundtable: resilience through collaboration

Event date/time: Tue, 24 September 2024 8:30 am - 10:30 am BST

As the financial sector prepares for the implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) on 17 January 2025, it is crucial for legal teams to understand the implications and challenges of this new regulation.

Join us for an interactive roundtable discussion, in partnership with SEB, on DORA including FCA Operational Resilience and the proposed UK CTP Regime. We will discuss the need for front office and legal teams to engage more deeply in identifying critical (as well as non-critical) ICT systems, assess current compliance strategies and contractual repapering approaches and explore the potential impact of the January 2025 deadline for DORA. We’ll also address industry efforts to standardise requirements and the challenges of applying DORA standards to intra-group and branch outsourcing.

The session will be led by Sarah Quantrill, Head of Legal at SEB, with the Taylor Root legal recruitment experts Maud Dowding, Emma Coulter and Karolina Mikulicz-Church facilitating the discussion. This will be a valuable opportunity for legal leaders to gain insights and shape effective compliance strategies.
