When compiling the data each year we draw from a range of sources to ensure our insight is up to date and as accurate as possible. We look at all of the offers processed by us in the preceding year and projected salaries for new instructions to identify developing trends across the market at various levels. We speak to candidates first-hand about their salary reviews, their bonus structures and blend this with the huge volume of anecdotal information received by our global offshore team throughout the year. Finally, we also surveyed 600+ offshore lawyers asking questions pertaining to salary, bonus and benefits. As a consequence, we believe our data is a true reflection of the current market.
The figures in this report are set out in easy to read salary bands by reference to individuals’ post-qualification experience. These bands refer to basic salaries only and reflect the diversity of firms operating in each jurisdiction.
