In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Corporate Compliance Manager in managing the Group’s compliance risks. You will ensure that counterparty due diligence and reviews are completed efficiently, upholding regulations like the UK Bribery Act, GDPR, and Modern Slavery Act.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with front office personnel to understand and approve counterparties for transactions.
- Conducting thorough due diligence using various databases, identifying beneficial ownership and subsidiary structures.
- Championing group-wide compliance training through computer-based initiatives.
- Reviewing and adhering to internal compliance policies, ensuring they align with relevant regulations.
- Contributing to the development of new procedures, policies, and processes.
- Assisting with daily compliance tasks and administrative duties.
- Proactively monitoring and clearing due diligence alerts.
- Staying current on regulatory and commercial developments, keeping the Compliance Manager informed.
