After an exciting and busy two years which saw an exponential increase in demand for lawyers by overly optimistic tech companies, some larger tech companies are now downsizing their legal teams, resulting in redundancies globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many technology giants, including some of the most prominent in the Netherlands, have been forced to let go of lawyers, especially those in mid-level positions. In particular, redundancies have been in companies that have undergone strategic shifts, mergers, or acquisitions.
