The opportunity<\/h2>\n

We are looking for an experienced Senior Privacy Counsel to join a growing, technology-driven business operating in a complex, data-rich environment.<\/p>\n

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established privacy programme while helping to develop and strengthen the organisation’s approach to privacy governance as it continues to grow.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will be the business’s dedicated in-house privacy lawyer and operational privacy lead, combining senior legal advisory responsibilities with hands-on ownership of privacy compliance. The role requires someone who can move comfortably between interpreting complex legal requirements, advising senior stakeholders and implementing the processes and controls needed to manage privacy risk effectively.<\/p>\n

The business already has foundational privacy policies, processes and documentation in place. The priority is to build on these foundations, understand the underlying technology and data flows, identify gaps and ensure the privacy framework is practical, proportionate and scalable.<\/p>\n

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing and other business functions, you will help embed privacy into day-to-day operations and support the responsible use of data, including emerging technologies and new data-driven initiatives.<\/p>\n
