You will play a key role in advising on the regulatory framework applicable to a leading private markets platform while helping to further develop its compliance programme, governance processes and financial crime controls.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regulatory Advisory &amp; Business Partnering<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Act as a trusted advisor on the Dutch and European regulatory framework applicable to alternative investment fund managers, translating regulatory requirements into practical, commercially workable solutions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Your remit will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AIFMD and the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wft)<\/li>\n<li>AML\/CFT and customer due diligence requirements<\/li>\n<li>The evolving European AML framework, including AMLR<\/li>\n<li>Sanctions compliance<\/li>\n<li>Anti-bribery and corruption<\/li>\n<li>Export controls and dual-use regulations<\/li>\n<li>Market abuse, conduct and governance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Conflicts of interest and regulatory risk management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will work closely with investment, legal, finance and investor relations stakeholders, supporting day-to-day matters, fundraising activities and broader strategic initiatives.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compliance Framework &amp; Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and enhance the firm&#8217;s compliance framework.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review and implement policies, procedures and internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Support the annual compliance programme and compliance monitoring activities.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate implementation across the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Support governance processes and conflict of interest management.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Crime Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise on AML, sanctions and anti-bribery requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence processes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with financial crime risk assessments and ongoing monitoring activities.<\/li>\n<li>Support implementation of new AML and financial crime requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to reporting and escalation procedures where appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience gained within private equity, venture capital, asset management, trust &amp; corporate services or a financial regulatory legal practice.<\/li>\n<li>A Master&#8217;s degree in Law or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the Dutch and European regulatory framework applicable to alternative investment fund managers.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with AIFMD, Wft and Wwft.<\/li>\n<li>Experience advising on AML\/CFT, sanctions, customer due diligence, anti-bribery and corruption requirements.<\/li>\n<li>A track record of translating regulatory requirements into practical policies, procedures, controls and business processes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice while balancing regulatory obligations with commercial objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Dutch and English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p>The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZWxpb3R0Yy40NDM3My4xMjk1OEBzcmdyb3VwLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":787,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_cn_metabox_post_checkbox_dont_send_once":false,"_cn_metabox_post_checkbox_dont_send_ever":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Amsterdam, North Holland","_application":"eliottc.44373.12958@srgroup.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":1,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[],"srgroup_job_contract":[7],"srgroup_job_hour":[3],"srgroup_job_region":[248,247],"srgroup_job_specialism":[268],"srgroup_job_arrangement":[32],"srgroup_job_source":[10,11],"srgroup_job_experience":[],"srgroup_job_industry":[134],"class_list":["post-127579","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job_position_featured"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.2 (Yoast SEO v28.7) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-premium-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Find your new job legal, risk or compliance job with Compliance Counsel<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"We are your go-to global legal, risk and compliance recruitment experts.
