This is a high-profile executive appointment offering the opportunity to shape supervisory strategy, influence regulatory policy and oversee the prudential supervision of a significant banking sector operating within a globally recognised international financial centre.<\/p>\n<p>As a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the Banking Supervision Division, ensuring a robust risk-based supervisory framework across licensed banking institutions and supporting the continued stability and integrity of the financial system. You will play a critical role in driving regulatory excellence, overseeing supervisory activities, engaging with industry stakeholders and representing the organisation on regional and international regulatory forums.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the strategic direction, performance and development of the Banking Supervision Division.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee risk-based supervision, monitoring and inspection programmes across banking institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Identify emerging prudential, conduct and financial crime risks and recommend appropriate supervisory responses.<\/li>\n<li>Provide thought leadership on banking regulation, supervisory frameworks and international best practice.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of regulatory policy, legislation, rules and guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Manage complex regulatory issues, enforcement matters and remediation programmes where required.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with financial institutions, international regulators and industry bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Lead, develop and mentor a team of experienced supervisory professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the organisation at international supervisory forums, conferences and regulatory working groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Candidate Profile<\/h3>\n<p>We are interested in speaking with senior banking regulatory professionals, prudential supervisors or banking executives with extensive experience operating within highly regulated financial services environments.<\/p>\n<p>You will likely possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant experience within banking regulation, prudential supervision or financial services oversight.<\/li>\n<li>A proven track record of leading large teams and managing complex regulatory relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of international supervisory standards, including Basel frameworks and AML\/CFT requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Experience influencing policy, regulatory change and supervisory strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>A degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Law or a related discipline, with a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Personal Attributes<\/h3>\n<p>The successful individual will be a credible and collaborative leader who combines sound judgement with strong regulatory insight.
