This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail and strong stakeholder management are key.<\/p>\n<p>You will play a pivotal role in managing AML processes, supporting junior team members, and acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the firm.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage end-to-end AML processes during matter opening, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct AML checks, identify risks, and take appropriate action, escalating complex issues where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out detailed research using company registries, databases, and screening tools.<\/li>\n<li>Act as an escalation point for junior analysts, providing guidance, training, and supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver clear AML advice to stakeholders across the business.<\/li>\n<li>Collect and assess client due diligence documentation, including conducting Enhanced Due Diligence where required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and auditable AML records and stay updated on regulatory developments.<\/li>\n<li>Support the MLRO team on projects and firm-wide initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain client and matter records, assist with file opening, and provide general team administration.<\/li>\n<li>Support management with task delegation and performance monitoring against KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise effectively with fee earners, stakeholders, and other departments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and up-to-date correspondence and documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Skills &amp; Experience Required<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years&#8216; experience in a Senior AML or Financial Crime role within a legal environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience managing complex AML and financial crime queries.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to research, analyse and deliver tailored, risk-based solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of UK Money Laundering Regulations and relevant guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with AML systems such as Intapp and screening tools (e.g. World-Check or similar).<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of client due diligence requirements for corporate and individual clients.<\/li>\n<li>Experience handling conflicts of interest is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Degree educated (GDL\/LPC desirable but not essential).<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated interest in developing a career in Risk &amp; Compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Interested?
