This role is pivotal in developing, implementing and maintaining the organisation&#8217;s privacy program, ensuring compliance with international data protection laws (including EU\/UK GDPR, US and other jurisdictions).<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 13.5pt\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the design and execution of privacy and data protection policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk assessments, privacy impact assessments and compliance audits.<\/li>\n<li>Manage privacy training programs for staff and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee responses to data subject requests, regulatory inquiries and privacy-related complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Review and negotiate privacy clauses in client and vendor contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Act as liaison with data protection authorities and serve as statutory privacy officer where required.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams on privacy by design, data governance and incident response.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated on global privacy regulations and advise on compliance strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 13.5pt\">Required Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of EU\/UK GDPR and familiarity with global privacy laws (US, Middle East, Asia).<\/li>\n<li>Experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements and handling privacy-related issues in a global business context.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to manage data breaches, regulatory notifications and privacy audits.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across diverse teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 13.5pt\">Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified Solicitor.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in privacy compliance, ideally within a law firm.<\/li>\n<li>Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPT) preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
