Martin offers a unique perspective and expertise having worked in numerous roles, including starting at Slaughter and May through to growing legal teams at Funding Circle, where he ran the global legal and regulatory affairs team, and WorldRemit (now Zepz) as General Counsel and Group CoSec, looking after legal, risk and the board. Now back in private practice as a partner at the leading UK independent firm, Burges Salmon, Martin works with a range of clients from start-ups and scale-ups through to FTSE 100 and internationally significant financial institutions.<br>Martin is ranked as a \u201ctier 1\u201d lawyer for fintech, was recognised in the \u201cTech Top Ten\u201d lawyers for entrepreneurs and is one of a few UK based lawyers recognised globally in the independently researched \u201cWho\u2019s Who Legal\u201d listing of fintech lawyers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column
