Helen graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2002 and worked in Japan for three years before returning to the UK to undertake postgraduate legal studies. She trained at international law firm Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills) and qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2010. Shortly afterwards, she joined the international team at Taylor Root.
Helen relocated to Singapore in the summer of 2010 to help establish the new office and over the next five years worked across the whole market, recruiting for private practice and in-house positions. After a year in Tokyo, Helen returned to Taylor Root's Singapore office to manage the in-house banking and financial services team. In this role she recruited senior legal and compliance candidates (including General Counsels and Heads of Compliance) across the South East Asia region.
Helen relocated to New York in late 2016 to head up Taylor Root's New York team. She now leads a team executing legal and compliance searches across the North America region.
